Details

A reproduction of a beautifully detailed antique etching of a grazing horse, made by the Dutch artist Adriaen van de Velde in the 1600s.

A sturdy horse lowers its head to graze in an open pasture, while more horses rest in the distance under a sky of fine etched clouds. Every line was cut by hand into a metal plate, giving the print rich texture and an old-world feel, set off by the warm, aged tone of the original paper.

Its soft neutral palette makes it easy to style anywhere: a farmhouse living room, study, entryway, boy's room, or nursery. It's also a classic addition to an equestrian or vintage gallery wall.
