Details

A reproduction of a beautiful antique alphabet sampler, stitched in the late 1790s by 13-year-old Priscilla T. Glover.

Soft cream, blush, and golden flowers trail around a rich olive-green background. A woven basket of blooms sits at the top, and a little tree with bluebirds and two tiny animals grows from the grass at the bottom. In the center, Priscilla stitched her alphabets, numbers, and a verse popular on samplers of the time.

The moody green tones make it a striking piece for a nursery, girl's room, reading nook, or gallery wall. It pairs especially well with natural wood and vintage decor.
